The game is a really funny TPS. Solid cover-battle with all that comes, the fights are not broken and you can have fun either with simple bullets or by screwing the gravity. Ok, there are some stolen ideas: The Cursed Crusade for the "partner" gameplay, and Bulletstorm for the "leash" power of the gravylink. Still it has some good ideas and some fun moments during combat or cutscenes. Every combat is different and funny in it's way. Boss battles are satisfying and not frustrating. Movements and power usage are intuitive and easy to master (at first it will be difficult to move in zero-gravity, but after a while you'll be flying around like a bird). The plot may seem flat at first but will gain a twist by the end.

The game introduced a more traditional grappling system while retaining the series’ fast gameplay. In this new grappling system also included were body damage meters, individual character scales that consisted of stats such as strength, endurance and speed, and submission meters for both the person applying the move and the person breaking out of the move. As well as the ability to break the submission hold when being close to the ropes.
The game features a number of wrestlers who were members of the WWE roster at the time. This would be the final SmackDown!-branded game to feature Brock Lesnar, Val Venis, and Rikishi, as well as the only WWE licensed game to feature Ultimo Dragon and Sean O'Haire as playable characters. It is also the first game in the SmackDown! series to have John Cena, Batista, Chavo Guerrero and Rey Mysterio as playable characters. This also marks the final time that Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rockwould appear in a SmackDown! game as non-legends. Also it is the last game to feature Undertaker before he dropped his biker gimmick and the first game to depict Kane without his mask.

USK: IndexedAlex's primary superpower is his ability to shapeshift, changing his body to suit his needs. Going hand in hand with this power is his ability to "consume" others, absorbing them entirely. This process allows Alex to quickly regain health by absorbing the biomass of his enemies. This also allows him to take on the forms of the enemies he absorbs, thereby allowing the player to move about the enemy as one of them. The disguise will only last as long as Alex remains inconspicuous. Alex has incredible physical strength, and will kill most humans in a single punch. He can perform various melee attacks without shapeshifting, as well as more gymnastic moves such as air combos, sliding along the ground using any humanoid enemy's body, and a high-speed rolling cannonball attack.
Alex can also transform parts of his body into a selection of martial implements acquired over the course of the game, either as purchased upgrades or being given them. Offensive powers include the large and powerful Blade arm, fast razor-sharp Claws (which can also erupt large spikes from the ground), the telescoping Whipfist, Musclemass that augments his strength, and the slow but powerful Hammerfists. Defensive options consist of a large shield on Alex's left arm for blocking ballistic attacks that needs to regenerate after excessive damage, and full body armor that exchanges agility and speed for toughness in hand to hand combat; both will allow Alex to plow through most obstacles when active. Vision modes include thermal vision, which allows Alex to see enemies through smoke and other obstacles at the expense of a decreased vision range, and Infected vision, which highlights those infected with the BLACKLIGHT virus as well as military units. Both vision modes muffle all of Alex's other senses, such as hearing, in order to concentrate on his sight. One defensive and offensive power may be active at a time, and using either will negate Alex's current disguise. In addition to his own abilities, Alex can take the weapons from defeated or absorbed enemies. These include automatic rifles, machine guns, grenade launchers, and missile launchers. He can also seize control of military vehicles, such as tanks and helicopters.
Alex's most powerful attacks are the Devastators, which require Alex to be in Critical Mass - either a state of near-death or the exact opposite, having excess stored biomass and increased health. These include the Tendril Barrage, which fires impaling tendrils from his body in all directions, the Groundspike Graveyard, which erupts massive spikes from the ground all around Alex, and the Critical Pain, which fires a single beam of hardened biomass from his hands to severely damage a single target.
For movement around the city, the player uses extreme parkour, enhanced heavily by Alex's increased physical abilities. When sprinting, he will automatically hop over cars, barriers and other obstacles without losing momentum. Alex will also scale any wall he comes into contact with and simply knock aside any humanoids that get in his way without stopping. He can jump great heights and distances, enough to clear five-story buildings, and can sprint at extreme speed indefinitely. Falls cause no damage to the player even from the greatest heights. Even small jumps are enough for Alex to dent the ground beneath him, and falls from sufficient heights will create shockwaves at the point of impact which will kill most humans nearby and send objects as large as cars flying. Falling height also factors into several of Alex's melee attacks.
Enemies in the game are the Infected: those infected with the BLACKLIGHT virus, and the Military. The Infected consist of ordinary civilians infected with the virus that are generally not a threat to Alex. However, the Hunters, huge creatures created from Infected water towers, are one of the main enemies in the game. Evolved Hunters referred to as Leaders are one of the most powerful creatures in the game and are incredibly hard for Alex to kill. The Military consist of ordinary soldiers which are usually not a threat to Alex, although they are capable of operating weaponry that is extremely dangerous to Alex, such as tanks and heavily armed helicopters. The Military also consists of BLACKWATCH, an agency dedicated to combating biological and nuclear warfare. BLACKWATCH is one of the intricate parts of the game's story and create some of the most deadly biological weaponry to combat Alex, including viral detectors capable of detecting Alex even in his disguise, and, introduced later in the game, the deadly poison Bloodtox, capable of slowly killing Alex and the Infected. Introduced later in the game are heavily armored and durable soldiers referred to as Super Soldiers, capable of fighting against Alex and some of the strongest Infected.
In order to gain more advanced upgrades, Alex is capable of sneaking into Military Bases using a disguise and stealthily consume various officials within the base. He can also set off an alert within the base, in which the only way to escape is to slaughter whoever is in the base. Alex can also gain upgrades from the Infected by collecting genetic data. Infected Hives, like Military Bases, are located all over the city, and produce genetic data constantly. Alex can destroy the Infected Hives or simply absorb the data on the outside as it is being produced. At the start of the game, only small factions of the Infected and Military are present in the city. However, as the game progresses, the Military and the Infected begin to expand. Territory in the city is made out of three distinct zones. Blue Zones are in Military control and are relatively clean of the Infection. Red Zones thrive with the Infection, although there still remains a strong Military presence. In some areas of the city, a Blue Zone and a Red Zone might converge, creating a new and distinct Purple Zone. In these Zones, the Military and the Infected are in a constant battle for control. How the player decides to act in these Zones determine which faction seizes the territory.

The gameplay of God of War II is very similar to that of its predecessor, God of War. It is a single-player video game that features a fixed camera that shows a third-person view. The player controls the game's protagonist character Kratos in a combination of combat, both normal and quick time, with platforming and puzzle game elements. The player navigates Kratos through a long series of tests, trials and mazes to achieve goals. Many of the combination attacks used in God of War reappear, and the game features four times as many boss fights and improved puzzles than the original. Combat includes a quick time event (QTE) feature that is initiated when the player has weakened a strong foe. The player performs actions on the control device shortly after the appearance of an on-screen prompt using the circle button on the controller. It allows limited control of Kratos during the QTE cinematic sequence. If the player succeeds, the battle ends, whereas failure usually resulting in damage.
Kratos battles the Colossus of Rhodes. Kratos' main weapons are a pair of double-chained blades called Athena's Blades, and as the game progresses, Kratos acquires new weapons—the Barbarian Hammer, the Spear of Destiny, and periodically the Blade of Olympus. Although Kratos begins the game with Athena's Blades and the magic ability Poseidon's Rage at maximum, he loses these abilities after an encounter with Zeus. Kratos retains the relic Poseidon's Trident from the original installment and acquires several other relics, such as the Amulet of the Fates, the Golden Fleece, and Icarus' Wings. Kratos uses magical abilities, including Typhon's Bane, Cronos' Rage, Head of Euryale, and Atlas Quake. Rage of the Gods featured in the previous game is replaced by Rage of the Titans, which provides temporary invulnerability and increased attack damage.
During the game, the player finds chests containing orbs colored green, blue, red and gold. Green orbs replenish health, blue ones replenish magic, red ones replenish experience—for upgrading weapons and magic and making new and more powerful attacks available—and gold orbs replenish the Rage meter for Rage of the Titans. The player also collects red orbs by killing foes and destroying certain inanimate objects. Gorgon Eyes andPhoenix Feathers, which increase the maximum amount of Health and Magic respectively, return and are found in plain, non-colored chests. The player must find six Eyes or Feathers to increase each meter's maximum. The player must also find three large chests that provide an increase to the Health and Magic meters; the third chest releases a large amount of red orbs. Several urns are hidden in the game which, upon completion of the Challenge mode, will unlock special abilities.
A quick-time sex mini-game is included in the form of an encounter with two women. The challenge mode also returns. Completing the game unlocks the Challenge of the Titans (seven trials). The player may unlockbonus costumes, behind-the-scenes videos, and art galleries as rewards, and usage of the abilities found in the urns during the first playthrough. Completion of each difficulty level also unlocks various rewards. A new arena mode, called Arena of the Fates, allows players to set difficulty levels and choose their own opponents.Synopsis

Let me begin by a big fat disclaimer: the last time I used a game console was in the heyday of Commodore 64. Nevertheless, I'm attentive to the needs of my readers, and one or more shouted: how the feck do I get me PSP2 games running emulated on a PC? So I stepped in to help them.
This article will show you how to install and setup the PCSX2 emulator on Linux, more specifically, the latest Mint release; although, it works just as well on Windows, and probably even better. We will do a native install and not use WINE. We will focus on the trickier steps, like BIOS firmware, controller configs and such. We will not be doing any game optimization, graphics improvements or similar. My experience with PSP2 games, game sources, free downloads, or anything of that sort is extremely limited. However, when it comes to Linux, I can surely help you, and that's what we will do today. Afterwards, it's up to you to get the games, tweak them and play them.
Install PCSX2
There are several ways you can install the emulator. You can manually download the package from the official site, install a handful of library dependencies and then try to run the program. I would advise against it. Instead, I would recommend using unofficial PPA repositories to get all the needed content. Now, this means you are probably limited to theUbuntu family, but this should get you started nicely. There are two repositories, the stable one, for 32-bit builds and the experimental one, for 64-bit builds and the less stable, more recent versions of the software, with all the limitations implied. In my testing, I used the second.
If you still insist on the manual method, you will need all of these:
sudo apt-get install nvidia-cg-toolkit portaudio19-dev subversion libjpeg62-dev build-essential libgtk2.0-dev libxxf86vm-dev x11proto-xf86vidmode-dev automake1.9 libbz2-dev libglu1-mesa-dev libglew1.5-dev libxxf86vm-dev libasound2-dev libportaudio0 portaudio19-dev joystick libsdl1.2-dev
You can also read a bit more on Ask Ubuntu and in the following Ubuntu forums thread.First run configurations
The first time you run the program, you will need to configure your emulator. In a sense, it's similar to working with virtualization software, like VirtualBox, or maybe the DOSBoxgame emulator. If you're familiar with those, you'll get along just fine.Do not worry if you get some of the options wrong in the wizard, you will always be able to get back to those in the main section of the program and make necessary changes. The first step is the selection of the language. The second one is the configuration of hardware emulation drivers, including the graphics, the gamepad, sound, USB, FireWire, etc. You can also add your own plugins. However, you will need to override the default system specified in the menu.
The one option of particular interest is the gamepad option, which you will most likely be emulating using the keyboard and maybe the standard mouse. We will talk a little more about that separately, however do note that Windows users enjoy an advantage in the form of Lilypad drivers, which are not available for Linux, methinks.
The third step is the trickiest. You will need to provide legal BIOS firmware from your Playstation to be able to finish the configuration and use the program. You can search online for the BIOS firmware dumper software, and it's also available on the official site.
In a sense, this is no different from installing Microsoft Windows as a virtual machine. You will need your own separate license key for the guest operating system. You will also need games, which again, should probably come from a store, bought and paid for. I'm not here to preach morality, but you get the idea.
Well, the whole locked-down concept of gaming console is one of the reasons I don't like them, but let's not argue about your erroneous taste, let's see if we can help you enjoy your games on your PC. That's all.
Start PCSX2
And now you can fire up the emulator. If all is well, it should run and show the debug console near the main window, which you can close later on if you find it too distracting visually. Something like this:Special options
Now, it's time to configure the program some more. Under Config, you can find all sorts of settings. You can also edit your plugins, your hardware drivers, change key bindings, and other options. For example, you will want Onepad for Linux. Then, you can also tweak the way the emulator runs, hopefully adding some extra juice to your games.Using PCSX2
Now comes the second tricky part. Games. You need a few legal copies, although free games and promos are available. My experience is close to null in this regard, so you're better searching for some on your own. PCSX2 allows you to run games from CD/DVD, but also from mounted ISO images in the Nodisc mode. Again, you will figure it out much better than me, as optimization of Playstation gaming is not my strong side. However, if you managed to get to this stage, the rest should be a pleasant journey of exploration, trial and error and a lot of reading on the official site and various forums specializing in just that.
Conclusion
PCSX2 emulator is a handy tool. However, if you expected it will bring free games to your doorstep, you will be disappointed. The program does not replace the need for a valid copy of your own BIOS firmware from the console, as well as games. So the emulator is there for your convenience, not to help you with the financial recession. This tutorial only touches the first steps needed to get underway with PCSX2. There's a whole lot more you can do, including graphics, sound and emulation tweaks, better drivers for your gamepad, other plugins, and a whole lot more. I wish I had any sort of passion with console gaming to help you there, but I'm a PC gamer only. Anyhow, with the information provided in this guide, you'll be just fine. Party on, fellas.
Cheers.
